NVQ Fashion and Beauty Photography

Today was the first session with the new daytime learners at college, they produced some stunning work, it was a real pleasure to work with them. We photographed a rag doll makeup style and three close up beauty makeovers with an emphasis on lipstick and eyes.

I had a busy day with a fantastically talented makeup artist taking photographs for her portfolio, you can view some of the images above.

A big thank you to Richard at Profoto for lending me some of their kit to try out, Profoto lighting is exceptional and I am now the proud owner of an outdoor kit.  I had been looking into the different options and was blown away by the quality of the light of the Profoto head and reflectors.
